What makes Em-maculate Cleaning different than other cleaning services?
Our clients come first. We’re happy when you’re happy. All cleaning specialists are thoughtful, thorough, and kind with a meticulous attention to detail. You also get local hand poured candles, canvas tote bags and other usable goodies. We love to spoil our clients!
What does eco-friendly cleaning mean and what kinds of products do you use?
We’ve done extensive research on what the best, most effective eco-friendly cleaning products are. We currently use A Better Life and Method products. We love them! For those tough areas we will occasionally use Bar Keepers Friend or Free and Clear Dawn Powerwash!
What do your cleaning services cost?
If you’re a new client looking for recurring cleaning services, we’ll start with a “Renewal Clean” a deep clean that will make your home sparkling clean and ready for our team to maintain for you. We are competitive in our pricing. Reach out for an estimate.

How long does it take to clean a typical house?
Each home or office is different, with different needs. Generally, however, a good estimate is to clean an average size home (about 1,800 square-feet) requires approximately four total hours for a regular cleaning. Count on eight to ten hours for a deep cleaning (recommended if it has been awhile since your home had a deep clean).
Are you licensed, bonded and insured?
Yes, we are fully licensed, bonded, and insured.
How often should I have my home cleaned?
We usually find that biweekly is the best fit for most clients and that's what we suggest everyone starts at. However, it can depend on a lot of factors. A home with small children or pets may find that weekly cleanings are needed. On the other hand, a home with a single adult may only need to be cleaned once a month.
Who will come to my home to clean it?
Our trained cleaning specialists are strongly vetted and highly trained employees of Em-Maculate Cleaning. Our preference is to send the same team member every time so you build a relationship with your cleaner and they can better understand your home and preferences.
Can I request the same team member for every cleaning?
Yes! The best way to ensure you get your preferred cleaner every time is to schedule multiple recurring cleanings at a time.
Can I request cleaners come to my home at a specific time?
Our start times for recurring cleanings and special occasion cleanings are 8:30am and 1:30pm. We love our staff and like to give them a break in between. We prefer to start our Deep Cleans at 8:30am, but are willing to work with you on that, if special times are needed.
What are your cancellation and rescheduling policies?
We have a 50% rate of service fee for all cancellations within 48 hours or lock outs and a full rate of service within 24 hour cancellations or lock outs.
I’m a realtor or property manager - do you offer multi-residential cleaning?
Do you offer small business commercial cleaning in addition to residential?
Yes, we do! ! It brings us great joy to work with realtors, property management companies, landlords, and business owners all over the city to ensure spaces sparkle and shine. Please contact us for more information on how we can work together!
Do you offer anything beyond basic cleaning services?
In addition to cleaning services we also offer changing of linens, plant care, fresh flower bouquets from a lovely local florist delivered to you during your cleaning, custom blended scented aromatic sprays, and other add-ons.

I love the scented spray and candle left by my cleaner. Can I order more?
Of course! We can bring them to your cleaning if you select it in our add-on section, or text Emmy.
You can also order them for friends or loved ones from our online store here.
Can I buy a gift certificate for someone else?
Yes, you can gift a cleaning service either through a gift certificate in our shop or through our booking system.
